Biography

Martin Flores, retired, has over 25 years’ experience working for the public and private sectors in the Tecate, Mexico, Bay Area and San Diego, California. His expertise is the design and development of public spaces, urban parks, planning guidelines, Community Plan Amendments and Development Projects, encompassing issues of public access, urban design, urban forestry and comprehensive public participation engagement. Projects that he has designed and constructed include regional parks, community parks, streetscapes, design guidelines, neighborhood parks, urban plazas, and watershed urban river projects. In addition, he has made presentations to community groups, City Council, and advisories committees. Martin is also one of the proud founders of the Landscape Architectural Advisory Council (LADAC).
