Biography

Mwinyi believes that the built environment has a direct influence on our “common sense” and Landscape Architects are in a unique position to influence behavior through design. He seeks to increase diversity not only through demographics, but also socioeconomically. Reaching out to local schools in San Francisco, Mwinyi works with students to educate them about the built environment and why it is important for them to be represented in the design of their city.
