Biography

Pam Edmiston has been the Director of Construction for American Landscape since 2011. American Landscape is a company that specializes in iconic, large scale, and intricate scope construction projects, and works closely with noteworthy Landscape Architects to accomplish their vision. Some recently completed projects include the Buena Vista Streetscape at Disney's California Adventure, the Los Angeles Natural History Museum, LACMA, the Los Suenos golf course in Mexico, UCLA Pauly Pavilion remodel, and Main Street for Sony Studios. At American, Pam is responsible for coordinating the various teams: sales, estimating, purchasing, operations and accounting, as well as hiring the stellar staff to passionately fulfill the client's vision of quality, service and inspiration.

Pam's previous experience includes 25 years at Landscape Development, a landscape construction company specializing in design-build projects for home developers and multi-family residential. She served as Division President, where her wide range of project experience allowed her to professionally direct all aspects of landscape construction, ranging from irrigation, landscape, hardscape, lighting, maintenance, erosion control, architectural design and value-engineering consulting. Pam also spent two years at the landscape architecture firm The LA Group.

Pam earned her degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, is a licensed landscape architect, and is a LEED accredited professional. She has presented several seminars to landscape professional groups, involving topics such as project management, value engineering, and design-build.
