Biography
Since joining Ken Kay Associates after graduation from Cal Poly SLO in 1995, Jason's working experience has broadened to fit into the firm's diversity of projects that range from gardens to corporate and higher education campus planning, community planning, urban redevelopment and large-scale mixed-use master plans. In 2011, Jason became a Principal based upon the many successful projects he has completed and client relationships he has managed at Ken Kay Associates over the past decade.
Jason's focus and strength within the firm involves his abilities and broad skills in project coordination and management with cities, agencies, and clients. This involves the art and craft of working with community groups, governing boards and permitting agencies to coordinate and address concerns as well as obtain approvals and entitlements at every level. After these approvals and entitlements are completed, Jason remains engaged with the process and management of seeing the firm's resultant site and urban design efforts implemented.
Jason is a licensed landscape architect in California and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Cal Poly (1995) where he earned the ASLA Honor Award for the study of Landscape Architecture.
