The National Association of Minority Landscape Architects (NAMLA) aims to increase minority representation at all levels of landscape architecture within the practice and academia. Our mission is to create a collaborative space for students to share ideas and create community. Membership is open to all students with a focus on supporting minorities. regarding topics within the landscape architecture field. Activities within the club include guest lectures from professors and professionals, as well as social events to help students build stronger connections with their peers and the faculty. We have some exciting activities planned this year, and we look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
Joining NAMLA encourages participation in social events to help students form stronger connections with their peers, as well as guest lectures from professionals and professors. Club activities have included potlucks, thrifting, sketching/collaging/crafting, volunteering, and workshops on preparing resumes & portfolio, cover letters, and presentations. They have more exciting activities planned and look forward to seeing you at the next meeting!
