2025-26

• Dr. Mueen Bogs was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the International Conference on Architecture, Urban and Settlement (ICArUS). This conference is organized by the Architectural Engineering Department of Pontianak State Polytechnic in Indonesia and will take place in November, 2025.
• Asst. Professor Aaron C. Liggett was awarded the Teacher-Scholar Mini Grant Program for the 2025-26 academic year at Cal Poly.

2024-25

• Dr. Mueen Bogis was invited to deliver a keynote speech on nature-based solutions for addressing the impacts of climate change in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This speech took place at the 6th Sustainability and Resilience Conference in December, 2024, at the University of Bahrain.
• Dr. Mueen Bogis served as a reviewer for the External Scientific Committee at the 6th Sustainability and Resilience Conference held at the University of Bahrain in August, 2024.
