Steve Noll, PLA, AICP, ASLA

Biography

Steve Noll is a Principal of the South Lake Tahoe office of Design Workshop, with over 33 years of experience -- 18 with Design Workshop. Since graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1983, Steve has developed an awareness of the physical and social aspects important for "great spaces" with his successful projects nationally and internationally. In 1997, Steve moved to South Lake Tahoe to open and oversee the development of the office. Because of the strict regulatory environment and difficult economic challenges associated with many of his projects, Steve has developed the respect and trust of public agencies while navigating his clients through the complex permitting and implementation process. The area of his expertise is broad, including master planning and design for new communities, resorts, recreational facilities, universities and redevelopment opportunities. In addition to his professional life, Steve spends his time involved in several organizations including the Urban Land Institute, Board Member on the Sierra Business Council, the Tahoe Chamber and several community and recreational based commissions.
