Lasca Gaylord, in memoriam
The Landscape Architecture Department is sad to announce that alumna Lasca Gaylord passed away on Feb 2, 2026. Lasca graduated from Cal Poly Cum Laude in 2010 and went on to work as a Supervising Park Ranger with the San Luis Obispo County Parks & Recreation Department. Her bright smile and warm and loving presence while in the program are remembered fondly by the faculty and staff who had the pleasure of knowing her. Read Lasca's obituary.
