Breanne Dunn

Biography

After graduation in 2019 from Cal Poly SLO's Landscape Architecture program, Breanne returned to her home community of Ventura where she has found tremendous purpose in community-driven design. Her work is both strategic and empathetic seeking to create equitable public spaces particularly in historically disadvantaged communities. Practicing community facilitation has led to a new grants wing at PCLD in which she has been able to support several public benefit projects from the foundation up. Those projects include the Ventura River Trail Renovation Project, Children's Park Renovation Project, and the Santa Paula Branch Line Ventura Rail Trail. Recently PCLD has also contributed community outreach facilitation, early design, and grant narrative writing services for active transportation applications that increase local, equitable multimodal connectivity. Breanne also supports her office in project planning, management, proposals, and business development. She is a founder of Ventura County's Women in Construction and Design and supports local non-profit community organizations through various volunteer work.
