Biography
Mr. Degarmo brings significant experience and skill in landscape construction, maintenance, and development to ValleyCrest, including recreation and sports facilities, golf courses, commercial landscape projects, multi-modal urban and suburban trail systems, and others. He has deep knowledge and understanding of all levels of landscape contracting and project delivery. In his current role, Mr. Degarmo works with clients nationally to provide project solutions utilizing design-build delivery.
Chuck received his Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California, with concentration in Landscape Construction. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, American Society of Landscape Architects, Cal Poly, SLO Landscape Architecture Department Advisory Council, and the City of Laguna Beach Recreation Committee.
