Jeff Ferber, ASLA

Biography

Jeff Ferber is a Principal at RRM Design Group where he leads the Parks, Trails, and Open Space studio. Drawing from his distinguished career as a cross-country champion and collegiate soccer player at Cal Poly, as well as many dedicated years of coaching youth and club soccer teams, Jeff seamlessly weaves his lifelong love for parks and sports into his professional life. His passion and expertise lie in park design, with an emphasis on community consensus building. Over the past decade, Jeff has managed and overseen the planning and construction of dozens of public parks throughout the Bay Area and Central Coast.

Following his graduation from Cal Poly in 1985, Jeff worked for firms in Orange County before joining RRM Design Group in 1989. As the founding landscape architect at RRM, he has played a pivotal role in the growth of RRM's Landscape Architecture practice. Not only has Jeff served as the professional practice leader, but he has also served on the Board of Directors since 2000. Jeff's projects have been showcased in Landscape Architecture Magazine and recognized with awards from the California Park and Recreation Society as well as the American Society of Landscape Architects. He has been an active member of Cal Poly's LADAC since 2008.
