Jeff Ferber is a Principal in RRM Design Group and as the leader of its Parks, Trails and Open Space studio, Jeff’s utilizes his lifelong love for sports. He has competed as a champion cross country runner and collegiate soccer player, and currently coaches and referees for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). He also has expertise in Coastal Development permits as well as community consensus building. Jeff joined RRM in 1989 and is a licensed California landscape architect with a BS in Landscape Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 1985. Jeff’s work has been published in Landscape Architecture Magazine and recognized with awards from the California Park and Recreation Society as well as the American Society of Landscape Architects. Jeff has presented at various professional conferences and events throughout the State including such topics as "Great Valley Greenways - Making Communities Livable" at the Great Valley Conference, "A Bike Runs Through It" at the American Planning Association Conference as well "Learn by Doing - Community Benefits within your Restoration Project," at the Urban Streams Conference. Jeff has also been a guest guide for several central coast sections of the California Coastal Trail Tour. In addition to his work with parks, trails & Greenways, Jeff has completed many community planning and urban design projects throughout California, including the Venice Beach Oceanfront Walk.
