Biography

Nick is a licensed landscape architect (CA / AZ) and works for Hunter Industries as a Specification Manager. In 2006 he graduated from California Polytechnic University Pomona and went on to work for a few different firms in Southern California (MJS Design Group, CDPC and C2 Collaborative) focused on private sector work ranging from single and multi-family development (Domestic and International) to commercial and municipal work.

Having achieved success in the specification world, Nick was in search of a role where he could educate and share his knowledge with the industry. Hunter was that opportunity. Nick serves as one of the Specification Managers for the Southern California territory covering Orange and Riverside County with a sprawling reach to San Bernardino and LA county. His enthusiasm to help those in the Landscape Architecture industry is fueled by his time spent in the educational ranks guest lecturing at various universities sharing knowledge of water conservation and its impacts on the built environment. He has served at the Liaison to Students for the SoCal chapter of ASLA connecting with students and leading them to professional outlets throughout the profession.

When he is not working, Nick enjoys all things sports including but not limited to golf, basketball, pickleball, softball, soccer and cornhole. Nick and his Wife Ana love animals and have 2 dogs (Bonnie and Harrison) and 3 cats (Chu Chu, Misha and Mala). As a result of their love for animals, they share a mutual interest in animal foster care/adoption and work with Friends of Orange County Homeless Pets (FOCHP) to raise money and awareness for families to “Adopt not Shop”.
